Week of October 28:  Weather is great and the fish are biting!

We hear that fishing has been GOOD off both jetties and throughout the inlet.  There’s a mix of Snook, Reds, Black Drum, Spanish Mackerel and Pompano to be had.  Finger mullet are still around and making good bait fish, and shrimp are a good option too.  Go see Sarah and Tommy at Sebastian Inlet Bait & Tackle for the latest…  No one knows fishing the inlet better than these two!

Today, our featured angler of the week is Ryan Widman – thanks for sending in your pics!  Fishing the North Jetty last weekend, he caught three slot Snook and released two per the FWC set bag limit.  Ryan caught them on mullet on a fishfinder rig off the North Jetty in the surf.  “Both were nice days with a few big pods of the last mullet run..”  Nice Snook, Ryan!

NOAA is calling for stronger East winds at 10-15 knots through Thursday, slowing overnight and into Friday to 5-10 knots, SE/S in direction.  Seas consistent between 3-6 feet.  Thanks to all the anglers out there for your patience as we fix our new pan and tilt motor in the webcam.  All weather data is current and accurate, and our live-feed images will be up and running soon.  Check weather and tide charts here.

To be featured in the weekly fishing report, send us the details of your fishing trip to the inlet and photos!  You can use the Contact Form on this site to submit and send us both horizontal and vertical photos with the angler centered with his or her catch.  Have a great week!
