Week of May 3: Mostly Quiet with a few Jacks, Sheepshead…
Tommy at Sebastian Inlet Bait & Tackle reports both a quiet weekend and Monday morning so far. Because the bait fish haven’t show up yet, things are still a bit slow. However, we’ve heard a few anglers have landed snook, jacks, sheepshead, drum and reds. Got-cha lures are the best for the jacks and drums while bright-colored jigs and live shrimp are getting the hook ups with the snook and redfish.
NOAA is calling for mostly sunny conditions today with a high near 89. A 20 percent chance of showers after 4 pm. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Remember to check out our webcam for the most current weather conditions.
