Week of March 29: Snook and Mackerel!

Today’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 80. The winds will be out of the NNE  gusting to 10 mph. The marine forecast calls for 1 to 2-foot seas and a light chop on the intracoastal.

Tommy from the Sebastian Inlet Bait & Tackle shop reports a few snook and Spanish mackerel coming over the rails this morning feeding on live shrimp and spoons respectively. During the weekend anglers were also hooking up with bluefish, flounder and black drum. Tommy reports that more bait fish are in the area as the water temperature is rising.
