Week of March 22: Return of the Greenies

Today’s forecast is for partly sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s. Winds are westerly around 5 mph. Expect 5-7-foot seas with a light chop on the Intracoastal waters.

Tommy from Sebastian Inlet Bait & Tackle reports a quiet day at the Inlet. However, during the weekend, the story was about lots of Spanish mackerel coming over the rails. Anglers are also hooking up with snook, reds, black drum and blue fish. Tommy says the luckiest anglers are using shrimp and lures. He reports that the “greenies” are back and the Sabiki rigs are flying off the shelf.
