Skies will be partly cloudy today with a chance of showers in the late morning and early afternoon. Expect highs in the mid-80s with East winds 10 to 15 mph. Seas 3 to 4 feet with a light chop on the Intracoastal waters. The chance of rain…50 percent.
Angler Wayne Landry tells us the bite is slow due to poor visibility. There’s some Spanish mackerel being caught from the jetties with a few barracuda trying to grab a bite of the action. Catch and release snook and red fish are also a possibility on the north jetty. Anglers are catching whiting off the beach and lane and vermillion snapper from the T-dock.
Send us your pics! We need photos and stories to include in upcoming fishing reports. If you want to be featured with your catch, send in a picture and the details of your fishing trip to the inlet by using the Contact Form on our website. Pictures work best vertical and if you center the person with their catch, leaving room on the sides. We try to publish all the ones we receive.
