October 3, 2022 -  The red navigation lantern at the tip of the North jetty is operational once again! A team of experts replaced the old lantern with an upgraded LED model and a new solar-powered battery, which is expected to last for several years. Thanks to our Florida Tech/FAU team for braving the winds to make that beacon of safety shine once again!
