Sebastian Inlet Bridge construction begins in 2026

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)  $111.7 million bridge project  is set to begin in early 2026.  The old 1960s-era structure is slated for demolition in 2028.  The new bridge, linking Indian River and Brevard counties, is scheduled for completion by 2031.
