Inlet sand dredging complete

The image shows a beach scene with construction equipment, sandy terrain, a water body, and cloudy skies.
A panoramic view of sand being pumped to the beach south of the inlet.

Inlet dredging is complete, but boaters should continue to use caution while the contractor,  ATL Diversified, Inc., begins demobilizing equipment required to vacate the area.

Dredge pipes have been removed from the south side of the state park, where ATL finished  pumping beach-compatible sand to the south beaches (from the Sebastian Inlet State Park day use beach access south to McClarty Treasure Museum).  In total, ATL placed approximately 130,000 cubic yards of sand on the beaches (including sand placed in the Dredged Materials Management Area or DMMA).
