Important Notice for Boaters: North Jetty Navigation

As a result of Hurricane Dorian, it appears that armor stones from the Sebastian Inlet’s North Jetty have been dislodged along interior portions of the northern shoreline in the mouth of the inlet.  The District will be conducting a hydrographic survey to determine location of the rocks that have shifted and whether they pose a navigation hazard.  Until such time, navigation close to the jetty is not recommended to ensure boater safety.  Before and after photos shown here illustrate the displacement of the armor stone and location.  Check back for updates or call (321) 724-5175 for more information.
