Our friends and partners at Sebastian Inlet State Park are hosting an event as part of the Florida State Parks 85th Anniversary – don't miss out on the fun!  On Saturday, February 8 from 1:00-3:00 p.m., you’re invited to the Coconut Point Pavilions for a family-friendly event with live music by Minglewood, Ranger-led programs, corn hole competitions and more.  Food will be available for purchase by Surfside Grill & Adventures.

The Coconut Point Pavilions are accessible via the South entrance to Sebastian Inlet State Park.  Regular Park Admission Fees apply; $8.00 per vehicle with multiple occupants (limit 8 people per vehicle), $4.00 per single occupant vehicle, and $2.00 for pedestrians, bicyclists or passengers in a vehicle with a holder of an Annual Individual Admission Pass.  Carpooling is encouraged.

As Florida State Parks marks its 85th anniversary during 2020, parks across the state will be hosting celebration events with food, games and storytelling.  For more information or to see a complete listing of all events, check HERE.

These state-wide celebrations come on the heels of the Florida State Parks being awarded the 2019 National Gold Medal award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management by the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association last September. A note of distinction, this achievement makes Florida the only park system in the nation to win a fourth Gold Medal award.  To learn more, read the article HERE.
