Coastal Cleanup volunteers remove more than 70 pounds of trash from north shore
Volunteers at the International Coastal Cleanup event on September 20 show off the garbage they collected at the inlet's north shore.
Thanks to you, we celebrated another successful event on Saturday during the International Coastal Cleanup at Sebastian Inlet's north shore. Volunteers of all ages collected more than 70 pounds of cigarette butts, beer cans, plastic bottles, monofilament and even a trio of sketchy looking Barbie dolls. Thanks to our partners at Coastal Connections, Inc., and Sebastian Inlet State Park for ensuring this year's event was another winner! Coastal Connections oversaw dozens of cleanup events throughout Indian River and Brevard counties that day. Learn more about this organization at https://coastal-connections.org/
