The Sebastian Inlet District (OWNER) is seeking competitive bids to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, services, and incidentals necessary to place approximately 30,000 cubic yards of approved beach compatible sand from an upland sand mine on the beach in Indian River County. Specifically, upland sand will be used to construct a beach berm feature south of Sebastian Inlet in Indian River County between FDEP monuments R-10 and R-17.

The Bid Package is available in electronic form via Demandstar. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents must be submitted to the OWNER (Sebastian Inlet District) in writing by 2:00 P.M. November 7, 2022 to be considered.

Sealed bids must be received by the OWNER by 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 16, 2022. All bids either mailed or hand delivered must be received by the Sebastian Inlet District at 114 Sixth Avenue, Indialantic, FL 32903 where they will be opened publicly and read aloud. All bids received after 2:00 P.M. of the day specified above will be returned unopened and considered unresponsive. No electronic submittals will be accepted.

Pre-Bid Meeting

Please be aware that the OWNER will hold a non-mandatory PRE-BID MEETING, located at the beach access and staging area (approximately 1.5 miles south of Sebastian Inlet), on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., which will be open for all interested parties to attend. The OWNER and ENGINEER will be onsite to answer questions and explain the intent of the Bid Documents. While attendance during this Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory, all interested parties are strongly urged to attend.
