We hear the Mangrove Snapper moved in a few weeks ago and are still around the inlet, biting on shrimp and minnows. Spanish Mackerel and Blue Runners are hitting on spoons or jigs and shrimp and minnows too. Pompano can be found on the beach. Anglers have also reported some Permit and Barracuda. For the most up-to-date info on what’s happening at the inlet, go visit Tommy or Sarah at Sebastian Inlet Bait & Tackle Shop.

Our anglers of the week pictured here come to us from one of the Sebastian Inlet District Commissioners Michael Rowland. Thanks Michael for sharing! Michael was out with his nephew and his nephew’s two kids – Dylan, age 6 sporting the cool shades and Clayton, age 3 in the blue life vest. Definitely some great offshore action to be had and it looks like you and your crew here had a great day. About 19 miles Northeast of Sebastian Inlet they caught these beautiful Red Snappers and got to limit in 90 minutes. Season opens again this Friday and Saturday.
