Check out the 27th Annual Pelican Island Wildlife Festival this Saturday, March 9 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Riverview Park in Sebastian for some good family fun! The festival will celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the nation’s first National Wildlife Refuge on March 14, 1903 by President Theodore Roosevelt.
The Festival is hosted by the Pelican Island Preservation Society and the City of Sebastian. There will be environmentally themed arts and crafts and presentations by Birds of Prey, Bats of Florida and the Brevard Zoo. Event attendance is free and free parking is available.
